Ground Transportation to the Marriott
Wardman Park Hotel
As an official delegate to the White House Conference on Aging you
will be reimbursed for the cost of your ground transportation from
your arrival airport to the conference hotel and back to the airport.
Dulles International Airport is the largest of the DC metro area’s
airports and many delegates will be arriving there. The Marriott
Wardman Park is easily accessible from all three major airports
and taxi and shuttle services are readily available outside the
baggage claim at each of the airports.

Reagan National Airport
• Airport shuttle is available for approximately $9 to the
Hotel
• A taxi cab is approximately $16 -$18 to the Wardman Park
Hotel
• Take the Metro (yellow line in the direction of Mount Vernon
Square) to Gallery Place/Chinatown. Change to the red line in the
direction of Shady Grove. Take red line to Woodley Park/Zoo/Adams
Morgan stop. The Wardman Park Hotel is located one half of a block
from the metro.
Driving Directions from
Reagan National Airport
Follow the George Washington Parkway, Northbound to Washington,
D.C. Continue past the Pentagon to the Memorial Bridge. While on
the Memorial Bridge, merge into the right lane and exit at Independence
Drive. Follow Independence Drive back under the bridge along the
Potomac River (this becomes Rock Creek Parkway). Merge into left
lane; the road splits after passing under Bridge. Merge left; then
the road splits again, and you continue to merge left. The first
traffic light is Calvert Street and the second traffic light is
Woodley Road. Turn left onto Woodley Road. The Wardman Park Hotel
is located on the left.

From Dulles International
Airport

Driving Directions from Dulles international
Airport
Take the Dulles Airport Toll Road to Route 66 East. Proceed East
on Route 66. After crossing the Roosevelt Bridge and entering Washington,
D.C., exit onto Constitution Avenue. Stay on Constitution Avenue
and then make a left onto 18th Street, then make a left onto Connecticut
Avenue. You will go through an underpass under Dupont Circle. After
you pass the Hilton Hotel on your right, you will go one mile, crossing
over the Taft Bridge and Rock Creek Park. After crossing the bridge,
make a left at the second light onto Woodley Road. The Wardman Park
Hotel is located on the left.

From Baltimore/Washington
International Airport
• Take the free shuttle from the Airport to BWI Rail Station
and take either the AMTRAK or MARC train to Union Station. Once
at Union Station take the Metro (red line in the direction of Shady
Grove) to Woodley Park/Zoo/Adams Morgan Stop. The Wardman Park Hotel
is located one half block from the metro.

Driving Directions from BWI Airport
Proceed through the airport and follow the signs for I-95 South.
Take 495 West towards Silver Spring to Exit 33 (Connecticut Avenue
South) towards Washington, DC. Proceed South on Connecticut Avenue
for approximately five miles. The National Zoo will be on your left.
Proceed another four blocks and make a right onto Woodley Road.
The Wardman Park Hotel is located on the left.

Driving from the Northeast
Take I-95 South toward Washington DC. Take I-495 West towards Silver
Spring to Exit 33 (Connecticut Avenue South) towards Washington,
DC. Proceed South on Connecticut Avenue for approximately five miles.
The National Zoo will be on your left. Proceed another four blocks
and make a right onto Woodley Road. The Marriott Wardman Park will
be on your left at 2660 Woodley Road, NW.

Driving from the South
Take I-95 North, which becomes I-395 North to Washington. Continue
on I-395 N toward Washington and bear left at US-1 North. Continue
approximately 2 miles and turn left at K Street. Turn right at Connecticut
Avenue. Follow Connecticut Avenue North approximately 2 miles. The
second traffic light across the bridge over Rock Creek Park is Woodley
Road. Turn left onto Woodley Road, and the hotel is located on the
left.

Driving from the Northwest
Take I-270 South to I-495 East. Take Exit 33 (Connecticut Avenue
South) towards Washington, DC. Proceed South on Connecticut Avenue
for approximately five miles. The National Zoo will be on your left.
Proceed another four blocks and make a right onto Woodley Road.
The Marriott Wardman Park will be on your left at 2660 Woodley Road,
NW.

Driving from the East
Take Route 50 West passing over I-95. Follow Route 50 for approximately
5 more miles. Follow into New York Avenue. New York Avenue will
turn into Massachusetts Avenue. Continue on Massachusetts Avenue
through a tunnel. When you reach Dupont Circle (past 18th Street),
follow the circle around to the right and take Connecticut Avenue
North for approximately 1 mile. The second traffic light across
the bridge over Rock Creek Park is Woodley Road. Turn left onto
Woodley Road, and the hotel is located on the left.
